Radmin is a remote access software program that lets you access files remotely. It isn’t virtual network computing-based but the client-server architecture used is quite similar. The interface is elegant and neat. It’s graphical and enables scanning for extra servers on a local network without knowing their details. The program also facilitates connecting to your computer in different modes. Other than file transfer and remote control, there is also something called Telnet, a feature that helps with remote housekeeping jobs. Moreover, there is support for a voice- and text-based chat functionality. Permissions for accessing these different functions could be furnished on an individual basis in a completely granular way.
Remote Administrator (Radmin) is a secure, remote-control software that enables you to work on a remote computer in real time as if you were sitting in front of it.
This program is the ideal remote-control and remote-access solution. The remote computer screen appears in a separate window on your screen. You can remotely access the same computer from multiple places and use advanced file transferring, remote shutdown, and Telnet. Radmin uses strong 128-bit data encryption for all data streams.
It supports an OS-integrated NT security system with NTLMv2 support. Remote Administrator can be used for help-desk and network-management needs in small, medium, and large corporate networks.
Additional features:
Smart protection from password guessing and DOS attacks
Radmin vs Logmein. I have been using Logmein for some time. I just downloaded and tried Radmin 3.4. Radmin is much faster then Logmein. However most other features are better or more polished in Logmein. This product has a lot of potential with some improvements to the below cons. I hope they address these issues, then I will jump ship. Con list was complaining, so I had to put some here.Windows media player did not display, but Youtube did.No file drag and drop between systems. No option to remember the password. No file synchronization utility, just file copy. Pros: Speed. The screen refresh is very good. Cons: Copy and paste between computers is not automatic. You must use the toolbar icons.Full screen - cursor auto-scrolls between monitors. However, scrolls when you are far from the edges. This distance should be much smaller or zero.

WTF? I don't agree with MPDK!. This guy seems to be a employee from competitive company Remote-Anything (just take a look in his profile). He says: 1. "You have to use a new license every time you help someone". Bull***t my dear! Radmin has a FREE fully-functional 30-day trial. If you want to help someone once or twice - 30 days is quite enough, isn't it?. Wanna do it for years - buy license key. It's that simple!2. "The program is to big, it takes to long time on a slow connection to send the program"WTF??? You think that 5.2 MB is too big? My digital camera makes shots with the same size. And why sending the file itself - just send a link to download.3. "It is to expensive". ??? Bull***t again! Did you ever wonder how much is Netop, GoToMyPC or LogMeIn? Radmin is one of the most affordable remote control software available. Compare yourself. I', tired of printing this review :) Pros: What I love Radmin for is:- Speed- Security- Usability Cons: Let me know if you find any ;) I will reply to your review :D
